Landmark 62 Logans Fish Pond, Dumfries & Galloway In 1788 Andrew McDouall Laird of Logan decided to create a Fish Larder for storing live sea fish by adapting a natural rock formation in the form of a blow hole, formed during the last ice-age. The work took 12 years and was finished in 1800. The village of Port Logan was used as the setting for the TV show "10,000 acres of sky". The pub/inn is well worth a vist, we had a wonderfull if short stay here.
